Step 5/1 - Execute Plan

You are now ready to commit your first burglary!
When you have selected "Start Plan" and made your choice which plan to execute the plan will be played back to you like a movie. You can use the jog wheel to fast forward but you cannot rewind during execution.
It is possible to switch between accomplices like during planning using the change accomplice button. During execution it's also possible to use the keyboard keys "1" to "4" to quickselect an accomplice. As you cannot pause during replay this is a very handy function.

No matter whether your plan was a success or a failure you get a result screen which explains what has happened.

If your plan has failed you will be able to see the reason. In that case you do not have to load the game. You can simply continue and re-edit the plan to eliminate your mistakes. A failed plan will not have any effect on your statistics.

On the left side you can see your success statistics. They represent how well you've done.

  • Loot needed: this is the minimum you must steal to pass the level
  • Possible loot: this is the maximum you can steal in this level
  • Gathered loot: this is the amount you have stolen
  • Time needed: this is the time you needed to finish this level
  • Par time: this is a very good time to finish this level. If you've been faster, you really did a good job!

On the right side you can see all accomplices statistics. The figures in the brackets represent the growth of the value after this burglary.

  • Criminal record: the more this accomplice did, the more traces can be found by the police.
  • Pick locks, pick safes, alarmsystems: the more the accomplice did of these jobs the better he gets. Next time this person will be quicker and more effective but also more expensive.
